today with steve

The class went up 2 the recreation centre and played same games. one of the games was Frisbee gridiron and  you had 2 get it from one side to the other to get a goal . the other games was one touch speed ball and how u play that is u only get one touch and u have to get the ball on to the mat with both hands on the ball to score a touch down . The class was taken by Steve

today we went to the pools for a swim . we had 2 do sum warm up games like ever ones tag and we had to see who long we could float for and then after that we had to do sum lengths for and then after we had done all the stuff we done we could do what we wont for about 10 to 15 mins there wasn't that bad it was cold in the out side pool but the in side pool was beater

piha drownings

Rajdeep Singh, 25, an Auckland University of Technology student who had been in New Zealand for two months, drowned about 12.45pm on Saturday at Piha Beach. He had been on a trip with AUT and it is believed he either fell into the water or got swept into the water by a wave.


Elmer Abonero was swept off some rocks at Piha Beach on January 3rd 2010. Rescuers were not able to get to the man because of the trecharous conditions. He struggled to stay above the water for about 45 seconds, but then drowned. Life gaurds said he probably would still be alive if he was wearing a life jacket.
